Ok it is a cute play on words I admit... I couldn’t resist. And of course Sebs post has all the makings of a GB.

Sebastian’s Pamphlets - Dealing with spamming content thieves / plagiarists -- Hey, outing content thieves is way more fun than filing boring DMCA complaints, and way more effective. Plagiarists do ego searches too, and from now on Veronica Domb from EmeryVille will find the footsteps of her criminal activities on the Web with each and every ego search. Isn’t that nice?

Blog RageThe problem with outing these things is that you risk becoming an object lesson. Doesn’t it make more sense to remain businesslike instead of reacting with a blog rage post?Everyone loves a spectacle, but isn’t it better to treat business matters in a businesslike fashion and leave the horn honking and bird flipping behind?;)

You’re absolutely right. I’ve mentioned the name because it’s a pseudonym (to my best knowledge a Veronica Domb doesn’t live in EmeryVille, CA), hence I thought that outing a non existent person hiding behind several layers of proxies wouldn’t harm me or my family. Probably the guy is happy counting the traffic I’ve referred to the splog, at least it’s very targeted traffic for SEO/SEM stuff. And, well, I was just awfully pissed because they didn’t remove my stuff on request. Thank you very much for your comment!

I know where you’re coming from, I’m DMCA’ing some guy in another country over a ripoff of one of my sites. No question it pisses me off, but if I let them get to me I’d eventually end up in the hospital for busting a blood vessel. The best response for my mental and physical health is to not let it get personal, just DMCA them and move on.Cheers,mb

What do you do when someone you like steals your article with one of his clone sites? I have that problem right now and can’t decide to act or not.

@ Seb - sorry I didn’t get back sooner :0) Glad U liked it - it was a vision dood, couldn’t be helped. I say tit for tat, they have something posted on their site that displeases you and now you have something on your site they may not like. Sounds fair to me :0)@ Mik L - have you talked to them? Would be the place to start....
