I dont see that info at the link you provide in the article. I do see it here though - but thats really old, from 2004... Sounds like everyone other than a domainer will "feel lucky" whether they want to feel lucky or not...
The content is visible on the linked page (scroll down to bottom of the page).Interesting, the new example on the linked page uses "oxford" instead of "oxford university". On the old page, "oxford university" typed takes you to the "oxford university" home page which likely is the top SERP but also represents an almost unambiguous user intent. Its not clear whether Google used to handle vague queries (e.g. candy) in the same way as precise ones."oxford" is a search term with many different contexts and meanings and its a bit of a stretch to assume the user is looking for "oxford university".I wonder why Google changed their example and made it more general?
I bet Kevin Ham doesnt care. He understands that generic domains are worth big bucks for their development/SEO value, not their type in value.
Todd - ping me. I have someone Id like you to chat with. Sent msg via Linkedin.Gab: agree with you. Its all about development/SEO value and content management.
