We have a way to turn off Google personalized results. Why not a way to turn off Google Universal Results?

(1) Is this something you want?
(2) If so, how would you like to see it implemented?

I am not 100% sure about that.  Universal is nice.

I don’t mind it for personal use, but I’m constantly logged into adwords so I would not mind a way to turn it off. I think perhaps an option within Adwords (or whatever G property you’re logged into) to deactivate it would be nice.I think a marketer who is paying for ad space on Google has a need (and a right) to view the SERPs as the average searcher might. I like to see where my sites rank and who they are sharing SERPs with.

I would like to be able to take US news out of my SERPs, the other day a search for SEO, plugged a press release about an SEO Blog getting a redesign - News?
