Weird, I was just thinking about how this whole economic crash thing would affect the SEO industry when i was watching the news this morning!
Seems to me that everything that happens in the states does have some latency in the UK but eventually we do catch up, only questions are when, where and how much we are going to be affected by it all.
I suppose that as online shopping is now at it's highest level ever the meltdown will not affect everyone so much, as if there is one thing that online shops needs it's effective SEO!
The US economy. Its a tough call. I was talking to the guys over on webmasterworld and webmaster radio about it all and there are definaly some nervous SEO / affiliate guys out there. I wish I was more of an economic guru so that I could say something authorative but I am just more concerned than anything.
Funny because I just wrote an article about this exact same thing, and found your article afterward...
