StumbleUpon wins quite convincingly with 31% of all responses (or if you subtract the ‘I don’t use any’ responses SU is a 38% slice of the total pie).

Still it’s not bookmarking and the people are not particularly fond of (pro)bloggers if they admit to be pro.

How can you say its not bookmarking? You keep the websites you like/dislike on you profile page as in a bookmark. I can see mix rising the ranks this time next year, nice post

StumbleUpon is my top from both a user and blogger perspective. As a user the toolbar makes it more accessible than most. And as a blogger it generates significantly more traffic than any other social site. Admittedly I’m not a power Digg user however, so I’m sure there are others with a different perspective. The quality of Stumble traffic is still somewhat questionable for me. But I don’t think it’s significantly worse than other social media outlets...

Agreed, SU provides the most traffic from all the social networks for me.

I think it’s a valuable point that a power digger could get the most hits, but if you care more about writing quality content then spending all your time gaming digg then people will stumble your work and it will take off.  Besides even if it sucks you will get a few hits with StumbleUpon.

I love StumbleUpon. It’s one of my favorite social networking services for marketing and overall good content.
