Though the blistering attacks I withstood recently on SU were difficult. Positive things came out of the expericne. I made new friends out of the and there were other positive results. This post highlights the attacks and steps taken. http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/080121-231908.
Marty it's a problem that's not going to go away any time soon and I believe that only the Feds are in a position to do anything aboput it. But, are SU users worth their time is the question? How many of us will have to go through what you have gone through for so long before they say..screw it! You guys are on your own. Find another place to go. SU mod's certainly don't seem to care.
But I'll have to say that I agree with you about the positive results that have also come for me as well. I have made new stronger knit friendships, my goals have become shifted to a more fulfilling level (I love challenges) and and fears and embarrassment have transformed themsleves into "Bring it on..I'll just smile and continue on...You're wasting your time"
The constant drama that these people create for me is all of a sudden no drama at all. I'm sucking it up with a smile.

Great advice. Also don't forget the "seek first to understand" approach. Many times I've discovered people were coming from a totally different perspective and I just had to figure that out first so we could communicate better.
I agree. I have been spending alot of time lately, in figuring out how to restruvture my thinking in many areas...this certainly inclusive.
Although this is very good advice we Mexicans tenemos mucho corazon y quieren luchar.

Where's the love my brother? LoL
Negative comments can be more valuable than anything else if you ask me. The key thing is that you actually listen to the criticism and apply it to help your situation.
