Note: I couldn't find any sites he owns, and Ian's never told me his last name (privacy concern, Ian? understandable if so), hence the lack of details. Perhaps you can comment here and introduce yourself a bit more Ian?

Seriously, Danny Sullivan was way ahead of me until all the spam posts that he had moderated and commented in were deleted sometime last month. That was a knock back of 150 or more; otherwise Danny would have been up there just before Christmas.
I guess it is coming from a background of forum participation that makes me the chatty one round here. I wish more people made comments rather than just vote. Let's get more discussion and opinion on the topic, rather just a number of votes.
Since Sphinn launched, my horizons of SEO and web-related reading material have expanded many fold. Long may it continue. I still have my favourite places and it'll be quite a fight to get me to budge from those though.
I am sometimes disappointed that an interesting topic might get dozens of votes and only one or two comments.

g1smd is the authority on duplicate content and other related stuff over on WMW. I remember digging through his comments back in 2006-2007 when supplemental results were still a puzzle. He's a big asset to Sphinn.

Glad the tips were of use. It took a fair while to work out what was going on with that stuff, but as ever, as we found out more about how it worked, Google continually adjusted what was actually happening.
I had a great chat with Matt Cutts about this topic at SES a year or two ago, and he could only do "no comment" to all of my questions. T'was interesting to see him do a great "poker face" for all of them.
