Wondering what this is all about? Well, a few SEOs needed to lose some weight, so they got together and decided to make it a public event. We are sharing our weight loss attempts right here for the whole world to see, and in the process, we hope to make some money for charity.

Donna already wins my kudos. I thought I was putting it out there admitting what I weigh, but she took side and rear view pics to post!Go Donna! :)

Yep, you know, those people on reality tv shows that try to lose weight are putting it out there for the whole world to see, and I see no reason I shouldn’t do the same.  Besides, how else is anyone going to be able to appreciate my new awesome rear end later on if they didn’t know how it looked before?  LOL.

Good luck guys! I would join in, although I plan to eat a big 10oz steak tomorrow which would be like running backwards in a race :o)

No doubt you’ll also be having a large slice of birthday cake too Rob ;)Pardon us if we don’t join in, and instead head to the treadmill...Somehow I doubt our competition for charity will be as easy as this one ;)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iFKbtIpiVo&NR=1

1. I’m a bit bummed there wasn’t an open cattle call (heh) for people to enter, I totally would have wanted to get involved. Sounds like some great fun for multiple good causes.2. Are we allowed to sabotage the contestants during conferences by ordering them free desserts and drinks? Not that I would do that to poor Simon. I’m just curious. :)

I dunno about you all but I ate a huge lunch and probably will follow it up with a big dinner. I need to give myself a couple of extra pounds to start losing tomorrow ;)

Guess I’ll have the triple bacon cheeseburger with extra fries, onion rings. 3 beers and a shake since getting rid of it would be for a worthy cause...

Lisa, I didn’t do an open cattle call for a couple of reasons:1.  If everyone participated, there’d be no one to visit, sponsor, and vote.  2.  We’re using WordPress MU to do this, and it’s a pain in the patoot.  I am adminning everything and there’s no way I could manage lots and lots of blogs.  For whatever reason, MU prohibits the individual bloggers from having access to some things (like template changes, etc.), so that means I have to handle alot of backend stuff.  That said, I think it would be fun if some of you would be guest posters for any of the participants now and then.  For instance, you could do a guest post on Simon’s blog and cheer him on (or perhaps in your case, give him grief).  LOL.
