I’ve taken over the Sociable plugin, got it hosted on WordPress.org and included a number of new social bookmark icons, including, of course, Sphinn, but also: Facebook, Twitter, Mixx etc. etc.

I’d tinkered with this plugin a while back but dropped it. Now that the Joostmeister is on board I may give it another whirl.

I already use Feedburner to put social bookmarking tabs in my posts/feed. Is there any reason I would want to use this instead of the Feedburner tools?

yes, I can select which ones I want on the feed, and which to show in the posts on the site. It doesn’t have Sphinn or some of these new additions you’ve made, but my blog is not SEO related so I can’t really use those.

Well then you should choose which one you like best yourself :) I’ll add an option in one of the next versions to show the icons on your feed as well.

Great plugin as I prefer my Sphinn voting button to be integrated into the standard social bookmarking toolbar. Good work.
