I value her opinion. There's no "crash & burn" tone to her post; hardly ever is, actually.

It must feel like a loss to dedicated users like Tamar who really had (simple past) fun there.

I much prefer StumbleUpon. It misses some of the "all together now!" urgency that Digg can bring but it *does* feel more social. A lot.

Great post, Tamar.  I think the more there's a genuine two-way dialogue between any social media site and its community the better.  So few dictators are benevolent. :(
