Its obvious that unless MS tries to adopt Yahoo's search tecnology, they're just gonna be becoming worser.
But, something tells me that MS is gonna have Yahoo as their third search brand - They're just too dumb.
I did a little test and posted a comment on my blog www.speechrep.com and then did a search for the post and i was indexed in google in 10 minutes. i could not find the post in live nor yahoo. so if microsoft is going to get it right they will have to do a major upgrade before they see some results. rumor was that newscorp is interested in making a bid for yahoo, which is probably a better fit for yahoo....yahoo to me seems more like a media company. with the expected growth of a $40 billion to $80 billion jump in the next 3 years in online advertising the media companies are feeling the pinch. the dollars are the same they are now just moving online because the spend is accountable. maybe viacom will want to come to the table to eat on yahoo too.
