So if you're looking for some weekend reading, this post will keep you busy. I've found quite a few posts that slipped under my radar over the month.

As I commented on the thread, this really is most impressive. It’s great that Steven puts the effort into standing back and pulling together the key themes of the month. .. and I agree on the importance of the Microsoft move if it does happen. That’s a major earthquake in the search space.
Agree 100% Barry. I was really impressed with this post.
I think most of us are waiting to see what happens with the MS/Y deal. I heard MS have reserved the right to attempt a hostile takeover so next week could be very interesting.
Steven has been doing this for a while... it used to be 'This Week in SEO' and yes, he does writes the best link roundup in the industry (thanks steven!) :)
Thanks for the Sphinn Nick and thank you all for the compliments. I tried doing something a little different with the usual links post. The post evolved a little over the first few and this is what they've developed into. They're fun to write and I'm glad most people enjoy them.
I was writing these weekly for awhile, but the time to collect the links weekly became too much and I scaled back to monthly. If you go to the main category for the post and look back two or three I have a post describing how I write them.
Thanks again.
Steven, almost every post I make you reference. Those not referenced I look over in depth and see what I did wrong. Your roundup really does capture the best of. I can only imagine the effort that goes into something like this. You must pour at least a full working day into it. VERY much appreciated.
I remember reading the post where you described writing them too and since then I read each post word for word. You do a fantastic job. I didn't know it was you (vangogh) on sphinn though :)
Thanks Dave. Funny I hadn't realized someone would look at what I did and didn't link to as a way to see if they did anything wrong. I try to link to posts that can be grouped with other posts in some kind of theme. Sometimes the only reason I don't link to something is because I couldn't make the connection with another post or my mind just grouped a few posts in a different way. There's a lot of good content I never end up linking to in the post.
The posts take about 4 or 5 hours to write. I usually write a section or two and then take a break. The time consuming part is collecting the links and then trying to sort through them all to group in some way. For this last one I collected about 3 times as many links as ended up in the post.
Yeah, I'm not doing the greatest job of connecting my name with the vangogh username. You're not the only person who doesn't know we're one in the same. I have some plans to help connect the two names better, but I'm saving it for a domain move that I'll hopefully have completed soon.
Wow what a great collection of information. It will take me a while to dig through that.
Yes, he does a fantastic job. Mentioned the list a bit back when I reorganized our blog roll and got him added in the "Blog Compilations" section at the bottom, with some similar resources.
