Great tips. Thanks. The most important thing is to have good content where readers would say, I would want to check out what the next articles are. So they will subscribe.
Hmmm... anticipation is indeed an important ingredient in increasing blog subscribers. But I wouldnt say its the secret. Im agreeing with crazycat in saying that meaningful & unique content is the most important factor. After all, no one is going to subscribe to a blog in anticipation of more crap content.
Lets not forget creating a "door" to possible discussion/interaction/feedback with the content as well
Secret may not be the best word here, but I agree completely with the idea. You can come across a great post, but if you dont think there will be more great posts coming after why would you subscribe. You subscribe to a blog not for what its delivered in the past, but what you think it will deliver in the future.Your decision on what a blog will publish in the future is naturally going to be based on what its already done, but youre subscribing because you think it will add something to your life in the future.
