"Monday afternoon I received a call from a Psychic Counselor inquiring as to how she might show up in the Local OneBox for Psychic in Santa Fe, NM. I was intrigued that a pyschic would turn to me from results she found in Google. I decided to take the case." :)

Not sure if he was lucky, but I just tested adding a new business a minute ago and the phone / postacrd verification process is still in place.

Art I think that is a function of Google double checking the phone and/or address against previously know addresses & phone numbers....in my case the only phone reference was her home phone...

Was your phone or address previously used for a business?

Actually it wasn't a new phone number, but I did a ficticous business test with a new phone number and it still promted the verify process.

Art Did the fictitious business have a website associated with it? One theory I have is that the LBC might be checking the whois record.
I will be doing a test in the next week or so to see if I can replicated these results.

Hi Mike,

No I did not have a website affilliated with the ficticous business. Do you think that could be a factor?
