Every single person working in the media today who experienced the dot-com bubble in 1999 to 2000 believes that we are going through the exact same process and can expect the exact same results—a bust. It's déjà vu all over again.... I can assure you that after this next collapse, nobody will think of the dot-com bubble as anything other than a prelude.

I could be wrong, but I just don't see it busting like it did 7 years ago.

"Said users don't stop clicking search ads" is plainly wrong. Has Rand been there? I was. People that had online businesses based on ads went down because advertisers had no more money to spend and jobless geeks either. So bubble burst means less ads and less clicks.

same here, I think there may be a time soon when some people get weeded out, but I can't see it busting like it did 7 years ago. the internet is too powerful now and that many more people are online and reliant on it every day. I do think that certain markets will shift though and we will need to have better monetization strategies as things move along.
