I was just talking about this with someone when I saw Lee's post. Good stuff and incredibly important to be mindful of. I noticed my Twiiter and Facebook profiles appear in top 10 results when searching my last name. Better post something nice about my mom. :)

I'm doing everything I can to own the Top 10 for "matt mcgee," but there's a Christian singer and a dentist who won't let go of a couple spots. But I have some more weapons in the arsenal still to use. :)

Some great tips and techniques for those needing reputation management. I would highly recommend using video channels for ORM, their ranking power is outstanding. Also check out Social Media Websites (a little side project of mine) for ideas for sites to register for to help with ORM efforts for your personal reputation or for your clients. Lee, I included a link to your blog from my site if you don't mind... as you are writing some excellent posts on SM and ORM.

@MattMcGee I hear you. Got the "lee odden" thing down since there's no competition but the "lee" is much harder. Holding steady at #23.
