I spent almost 3 minutes looking at the header image before I realized I was there to view a post. :)
LOL, yeah she's quite nice.

So, do any of you have the virus?
I am afraid I do :)
Mine is #4
That's what I call a great blog entry. Now I have a good idea what to look out for :)
Great Post Jeff.
I recently converted my static website to a blog and have also written a couple or so articles about the difficulties with consistent blogging. Actually I also wrote one entitled "Blogging About Money Will Get You None!"
My blog is the home page of my website and unfortunately for me (from a social media website point of view) my site is entitled Internet Business Mart...and who doesn't know that most social media hubs hate marketers. Thus right from the get go I have 1 strike against me.
Besides I find it really can get rather boring just droning on about marketing tips and the such like.
BUT...despite my site's name I will not limit myself to money making talk alone, and they who like it not, can get lost! (hey you can't get everyone to love you all the time)
On a final note JEEEZ this blogging stuff can be tuff!
What with getting the right plugins, seo, adding content, driving traffic, monetization...it feel as if the blog is currently a fifth limb!
Thanks Mugambo ... Patrick is a great writer. I really enjoy his stuff.
You are right about blogging. Hey, there's a post for you. Choosing the proper domain name so:
a) its not automatically shunned by social medialites
b) the scope of what you can write about isn't limited.
Let me know when its up. Sounds like a winner to me!
Very much a classic post. One of the best of the week. Thanks, Patrick and Jeff for sphinning this.
A classic? Wow, thanks Barry, that's very kind of you. And thanks Jeff for submitting it, it's on the front page right now :-)

#11 - Bloggers that blog about blogging and the pitfalls of blogging
There are some things to hate and love blogging. I'm afraid the reasons are true.
