Geo-SEO is crucial but it works differently, check out my meta tags at onreact.com (Yes, the meta tags ;-))
All respect, but is this really Sphinn front page material?
I guess what makes it to the front page makes it to the front page.
It's simply a list of people in the industry who want to be listed geographically.
I submitted it and let the community decide. If the community or enough people in the community think it's worth a front page then it must be.
Apart from the obvious spam what submissions do you think should not be on the front page, Lee?
Personally I think it should be up to the community and whatever is chosen I'm fine with that, and if someone acts like an idiot then we all know about it.
Lyndon, you're right. The community and to some degree I suspect, Danny, decide what goes popular.
This particular post just didn't seem to offer as much value as say, your post about the right way to use social media as a marketing tool.
Lee I agree. And if this was the kind of thing I submitted all the time I'm sure I wouldn't get many takers.
Sometimes a post may not offer huge value, they may even be a bit silly, but they may start a debate which is always useful.
I thought it would be a good idea to highlight anchor text when linking to people and that we can have a little control over it, if we have a dialogue with the linker.

The phrase 'search engine marketing' blows away 'seo' except when you use a local modified. Nice job.
I liked this post and do think it belongs on the first page.
This was a live demonstration of linkbaiting. Not only do you want to find a way to link to this blog now, you may want to throw in a hug.
