In a bit of fun, Yahoo’s Flickr staff create "Faceball", spread it around the world and lament Google’s lack of balls.

Sheer brilliance. I didn’t watch the whole 6 1/2 minutes but the front end and the back end are really fine.

I’d like to see a big box of balls delivered to Google via Yahoo. The sad thing is I actually want to play!

Wasn’t Google the company with the "balls" first. Actually I haven’t seen the balls within their site in a long time. I guess Flickr stole em.

Yeah, Google definitely used to have balls. Maybe they misplaced them. I’d love to try this, but I doubt my officemates would go for it. The balls are bigger than they are.

We’ve got a ton of balls. Ball-related games at Google include wallet ball and ball-someone-in-their-cubicle (works best if they’re working late and fall asleep). And stairwell ball is how we broke our first neon Google sign. Good times. :)

I’d like to find out how to play wallet ball. I can guess at how to play mallet ball... but wallet ball?

"ball-someone-in-their-cubicle" - realy google is a fun place to work,is that why Marisa has that nervous giggle :-) I take it you didn’t say what I thought you said there. I thought Google had a street hocky team now theres a game that takes balls.

Wallet ball is played with those huge exercise ball: - Put your wallet on the ball. - Drop the ball. - When the ball bounces, your wallet will be propelled much further than you expect. :) mjwalshe, I do play roller hockey with other Googlers. :)
