Tedster for President! (of the United States of SEO)
Plus Ted is a great guy in person. Was lucky enough to run into him at PubCon Vegas. :)
Tedster is one of the brightest SEO's I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. It's great to see an interview with him.
on behalf of Converseon, we're proud to have him as partner and friend.
I met Tedster at the London mini-PubCon about 3 or 4 years ago.
Shame there was only one afternoon available for chatting.
talking to ted hurts my head and yet i always beg him to chat with me about what he thinks is going on. he is one of the few people that are truly solid and not full of hot air.
Claiming to be an SEO without knowing who Tedster is is like being a baseball fan who's never heard of Babe Ruth.
@WebGuerrilla - that's a great analogy!
Its very educating to read tedster's contributions on WMW. Great generous spirit of sharing valuable info with the rest of the community!
Webmasterworld legend
Postscript: Tedster actually posted a comment on this article, so if you want to put a face with the name, stop by again and check it out.
I have a "face" here, too, Hugo - but it's an older photo.
@tedster - I thought I had seen your avatar in here, but I couldn't remember for sure.
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with different avatars floating around. I'm going with the Grateful Dead motif over at SEOmoz for now. The one I use here is pretty much my standard one (Breckenridge trails in the background)
That making 18,864 posts at a popular, long-standing forum can be considered 'staying under the radar' is testament to the level of self-promotion in the SEO industry ;)
Tedster - Also known for the famous "Frankenstein Site Lecture" at Pubcon and many other knowledge share lectures at Webmasterworld in the sessions as well during off sessions pub events. The man is a knowledge source and anyone who gets a chance to speak to Ted Ulle will feel like their head is about to explode, it is always great to speak with Ted down at Pubcon and I always walk away with things I can take back to all my sites. Pubcon is one of his normal hangouts every year. Getting to know Tedster is a must for any SEO as well many other experts at Pubcon. This is a Great Blog Post Written By SEOMOZ
@wrock - Actually, it was written by me. I posted it over at SEOmoz because I'm waiting for my agency, www.zetainteractive.com, to launch our new corporate blog.
