The Sunday Times writes a positive article about online reputation management entitled:

"Smeared on the Internet? Then call in the cleaners"

(I make a cameo appearance with a quote at the end!)

But of course the real story is our friends over at distilled.co.uk got a mention. It’s nice to read the papers on a Sunday morning and see your mates get a mention. Well done Tom and Will. Never heard of the other people mentioned.

Congrats! Great to see the Sunday Times recognize value of SEO. At SES London we’ll be sure to spread the good news that Distilled was mentioned. Now if you can only help Britney in the U.S.

Thanks Kevin, every time you mention Distilled at SES we’ll buy you a beer :-)* - this offer subject to T&C which cannot be found. Offer may not be true.It was interesting to read about Kate moss - her results have blatantly had some work done on them. Britney may be a tougher case! (although using social media is easy!)

Danny - no fair. ;-) You’re supposed to be skiing! Weather in London?Disappointing: sunshine, no fog. It’s more like SES Hawaii.I would love to see a "Britney: Beyond Redemption?" case study. Great idea. Matt McGowan’s brother (LA actor) could contribute some offline stories of hanging out at the Britneyplex. Either that, or SMX West could do a case study on Scientology.

Kevin, clearly you forgot to mention Search Engine Land’s early coverage of the Scientology Googlebomb. But that’s not fair, you’re busy in London. Here it is: Scientologists Google Bombed Or Not? You might consider adding that to Eli’s nice look at the YouTube issue. In particular, it clarifies that this isn’t something that just happened in the "last few days" but now over two weeks ago.
