Really nice and informative article many decent ideas, thanks for sharing. This is a strategy I use often to build back links to our blogs. Works very well and virtually no effort required.
I'm looking forward to hearing about any other tips any of you might have on increasing crawl rate!

Some good ideas here. A very low-tech way is to add an Update paragraph if appropriate to the blog post and even give a link to a later item that expands on the ideas in the post.
