Maybe its just me, but I have sometimes much difficulties (I even get error alerts sometimes) to reach page-2, page-3 etc.. of the "What’s New" section of Sphinn.

As such I started calling the said pages as "Sphinn’s Graveyard". And its sad to see so many good posts which gained 9- and 8-Sphinns just barred on page-2,page-3 etc.. and crying for few more Sphinn-It to move to Sphinn’s homepage. What a pity!

Here are few examples:

http://sphinn.com/story/2869 (9-Sphinns)
http://sphinn.com/story/2776 (9-Sphinns)
http://sphinn.com/story/2731 (9-Sphinns)
http://sphinn.com/story/2928 (8-Sphinns)
http://sphinn.com/story/2927 (8-Sphinns)
http://sphinn.com/story/2920 (8-Sphinns)

Maybe while Sphinn at beta, Danny wish to lower the required Sphinns of the homepage to just 9 or 8.

Actually, I think the limit has just gone up from 8 to 10.

I guess only a few members order the What’s New list by "most sphinns so far". Perhaps making this link bold red blinking flushing beeping and whatnot could help.

I did actually bring it down a little bit on Friday, which should help -- but I encourage to sort by Most Sphinns and see if there are people who need some extra Sphinn love.

Sphinn love... Have we just witnessed the birth of a new catchphrase? On edit: Apparently not. I found 27 results for the exact phrase.

Perhaps we could use the new catchphrase Sphinnxxx for Sphinn love. I’m sure that hasn’t been used. :)

Danny, maybe you wish to consider to limit submissions to: - one new submission per a Sphinner per a day. That will allow new posts to remain longer on first page of "What’s New". And will also allow for more diversity.

I subscribe to the What’s New RSS feed for Sphinn so that I don’t neglect any upcoming submissions. It’s a good idea if you want to keep on top of them. :)
