Thank you. Very, very well written. I like the way the article distinguishes good link bait from just ones that are gimmicky by qualifying that it should add to the user experience. Recently I saw someone trying to pass off a photoshopped image as a real Google press release... I can understand as a parody, but that it was rather stupid to try and grab attention by pretending it was real. Very short lived too.
