My earlier supposition about Google work upon their own browser has been confirmed by a WSJ article, along with the report on Google's initiative to develop a Google Phone.

I read they were actually considering the name "GooPhone".

The implications are huge as it fits in oh so snug with their overall "let's monitor the crap out of everyone" policy. Can you hear the spooks rubbing their hands in glee?
