I have noticed this as well but I was not sure if it was some other factor that was causing my site to get indexed so quickly.
There's a couple of bugs in Google Analytics:
1. Add a profile to your account, and then delete it as soon as you realised that you spelt the profile name wrong... but delete it before you verified it... and then be bugged with this message:
Tracking has not been validated or added to one or more of your Website Profiles
Report data is not being gathered for one or more of your Website Profiles. Please review the Status column in the table below to discover which Website Profiles require action in order to add tracking for gathering report data.
Correction. It looks like if you log out and log in a couple of times, it eventually clears the message.
2. The Time Zone for the UK seems to be preset to GMT (GMT+01:00) which is both wrong and a confusing statement to make.
The UK uses UTC+00:00 in the Winter. That's essentially the same as the old GMT.
The UK uses UTC+01:00 in the Summer. That's called BST (British Summer Time).
I prefer to leave the setting on UTC+00:00 all year round. I'd like to see that as an option.
The term 'GMT' went obsolete in 1971, so UTC is the correct thing to be using since then.
..thanks?
^ Not sure what that is all about...
