Just a note: it's a bit of a beginner article (Lifehacker is about everything, as you probably know), so it's pretty basic. Still, I think it's useful.

I realized it was intro stuff, but I still thought it was a good post and useful. I also think reputation management is still new to a lot of people even here. I know I'm hardly an expert and the post is a good reminder of a few things for me.

It is basic but definitely a great start into the introduction, and definitely enough for people to learn from

We'd have to agree....although basic, it's great for beginners.  Basically reputation management is going to boom as a business as it's becoming more clear that your online reputation can make or break deals for you.  It'll be interesting to see how much it evolves!
