Been waiting months... interested to see how long it takes you. How'd you find out the editor and how will you use that information is all very interesting as well.
The editor can be found listed in each category.
In this case, the editor is listed in the category above. The editors have editing rights for sub-categories.
For what it's worth, the last site I submitted was listed in about two months.
Peter, didn't you make a blog post about DMOZ a couple of years ago that got a lot of attention, a quick listing, a quick delisting, and tons of fun? I'm sure there's some strategy behind linking to the editor's page.
I'm not making any accusations, mind you. I just want to sit back and see how this plays out.
It can be very frustrating, I eventually became an editor. Seem to work so far

Well spotted :)
My question is: has anything changed?
You made this far too complicated:
- Carefully select category
- Submit relevant details
- Wait three years
- Ask politely why your listing hasn’t been approved yet
- Wait another three years
- Give up
The correct steps are:
- Carefully select category
- Submit relevant details
- Leave alone
Meh. Mine is funnier :)
And there is much truth in jest, as any webmaster who has experienced DMOZ would attest.
DMOZ editor, by any chance?
