I contacted various A-list bloggers and up and coming A-listers to see if the rumors are true, and interesting enough, the results are pretty surprising to me.

I don't know Maki personally but I have been a fan of his blog and his posts here on Sphinn for some time. Perhaps he just sniffed out the email as bogus.
I do feel its a bit sneaky, creative yes, but sneaky nonetheless, so sorry no sphinn from me.
No worries nsmseo, I'm a fan of his too. I didn't write this article to bad mouth anyone because I understand how busy bloggers get, in which I stated that in the introduction.
Honestly, I didn't contact them originally to sneak my way to write this post, I contacted them for either business purposes or because I wanted to let them know I'm a fan. I was just surprised on people actually taking the time out to reply back to me, especially the fact they probably get hundreds of e-mails each day.
But thanks for reading!
Hi whojaybe, no worries, just my opinion, you'll probably get a lot of traffic from it as people are interested in this sort of thing - just not me. :)
Yeah Sphinn from me. I think I see where nsmseo is coming from, but I also see the context in which you were posting. I've never contacted any of these bloggers, but I'm sure they sometimes neglect an email that wasn't spam now and then. (I mean seriously. I delete emails from friends and family all the time, and I'm sure I don't get near the spam they do).
I think I read your post right, and I'm glad you stuck up for them the way you did. It sucks when "names" in any industry get attacked because of minor faults. Some "name" SEOs get crap a lot, and I think it's cool to see a better sided post. Good job.
Nsmseo, Maki actually commented and just told me he never received my e-mail. So, I will be updating that on my blog. My message probably went to his spam filter.
Seofactor, yeah, I don't like to judge a book by it's cover and I definitely didn't want to believe the hype. Now that Maki of Doshdosh.com took the time to contact me, I think every blogger just proves their just like us regular people. :-)
Thanks for reading and commenting!
