Thayer Driver, from Chinwag, conducted a survey into Twitter etiquette and has posted the results in a free PDF download.

She questioned a group of 166 people, asking why people use the service and what factors make them follow or un-follow users.

The study cuts through the usual level of blogger speculation with some quantifiable data. The only let down is the size of the survey group. However Thayer is now attempting a larger study to address this point. If you would like to be involved then leave a comment on her blog.
