Interesting post - but I'm not too keen on the pay on performance idea.

I think there are plenty of small businesses out there that are aware they should be paying to conduct an Internet marketing campaign.

In my opinion businesses that are looking to try internet marketing on a pay on performance basis don't possess sufficient leverage at the moment to justify the effort in engaging them as a client.
