A great analytics Twitter tool that allows to compare any phrases popularity at Twitter: it shows how often a word/phrase has been mentioned at Twitter and compare multiple sets (’SEO’ has been mentioned 5080 times at Twitter ;))

The tool is interesting but there needs to be some documentation of whether its an official application, where the data comes from and when? I’d especially want to know the timeline for the base data the results are pulled from? Also, I’m wondering if these types of applications are the result from bot accounts I see proliferating on Twitter?

@SearchBuzz: yeah, a cool one! First things I checked were ’Sphinn’ and ’SEO’ :)@SisterSledge: not sure about that - but I did see several tools showing buzz on Twitter... so my guess is that that’s not that hard to do... will have to check this though.

Very interesting, especially for brand managers who are trying to see how often their company is being mentioned.

Just seems to be taking a site search from Google, not actually mining twitter
