This was by far the most enjoyable book Ive reveiwed so far (unpaid review, fyi.) I really liked it and can see how SEOs and web site designers, as well as usability folks can use the information. The book is an easy read and at times, quite funny.
Looks like a really good one. Liked the story about losing a sale in two words.
Got a copy too. Came the same day as Andys book, so Im reading that first. Thanks for the writeup; cant wait.
I see a lot of help coming from this book. At the very least, it helps both SEMs and usability oriented folks to get inside the heads of women more and also learn why this is important in relation to marketing and designing for women. I had a lot of "yes!" and "ah ha" moments. The book is a fast read too, which I personally liked :)It reminds me of Krugs "Dont Make Me Think" style - educational, lighthearted and sticks with you.
Nice find Kim. The "online moms" are a huge sector that not many are aware of. I happen to work with one such site and ordered two copies today; one for me and the other for the CEO.
I wasnt expecting it when I began to read the article, but it most certainly changed my perspective about approaching a niche market on a general level..oflline as well as online..
