As we all spend more time in social media, such as Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon or Sphinn, the ability to write catchy headlines becomes as important as it ever was. If someone skimming through a list of possible topics is intrigued by your headline, then they may dip in to find out what it’s all about. That’s why Brian Clark suggested you should be writing Magnetic Headlines. If you were using WordPress to write your blog, then you would presumably put that catchy headline in that field labelled Title. It all seems so easy, but in fact it’s a little too easy. In what follows to avoid confusion, we’ll call what appears in that WordPress Title field the Headline.

Thanks for sphinning this, Martin.  If you’re willing to put a little more effort into how you use the All In One SEO Pack WordPress Plugin, your efforts will be richly rewarded IMHO.  I hope this won’t get controversial like that NoFollow furore recently. I don’t see why it should, but you never know.  :)

I think All in one seo plugin is good .. but it wud be gr8 if it had option for custom titles .. like we can add our own titles ,,,, i.e of our choice !

If you read the post, ankitrawat, you will find you can do exactly that.  That’s one of the reasons it’s so useful.  I believe the ability to write a Google-friendly description ( < 155 characters and spaces ) is an equally important feature of the plugin.  If you do both for your noteworthy posts, you’ll see significant improvements.

The All in one SEO Plugin for sure is a must have for any blogger.I agree with the statement (Headline of your Sphinn) simply because the average internet user is not looking that much on the <title> as the search engines do. With the headlines you can make a lot wrong and dissapoint your visitors.

Another useful purpose to Twitter -- those 142 character limits are good practice in getting to the point.  (Character count of above comment = 106)
