12 sphinns in 7 minutes, must be some sort of record!  not sure what kind of record, perhaps for networking, but a record none the less.

Damn those rss feeds for Sphinn submits... and having friends... and good content... and being related to the community... and being known... and twitter... and facebook... and those damn internet things that tell people about stuff... Damn all that stuff.

I'm not saying anything against your networking, but this was well covered a week ago when it actually happened, http://sphinn.com/story/32604, and other than different screen shots there's very little difference in the stories.  Networking works great, here's proof.

Hehe.. Doesnt taking networking either really.. but point is made. Keep in mind how little control you have over content once it is published and also that most people don't see every single article that makes it to Sphinn front page..

Also if someone submits my content anywhere on the web.. I am going to promote it.. Mostly because i am a marketer.

And just think.. If desphinn was private and anonymous.. you could have just done the right thing.. :)

Cheers

Agreed, except the desphinn thing, I have no problem attaching my name to something, and if people want to sphinn it to the homepage fine.  There is nothing wrong in the submission, it's accurate, and for those that haven't seen it before informative/news.  Just not sphinnworthy in my opinion as its been covered already.

So hey, we can easily pull this using magic mod powers as a duplicate post. Anyone think we should? I see no harm, no foul. People often don't see the first go round of things like this. Happens all the time.

Oh Oh, now you all went and got the Danny involved!

@Danny, since I somehow started this conversation on the duplicate post, my vote would be to let it ride.  Nobody has desphunn it, many have sphunn it, and the post is accurate.  I just used my pocket-veto because I've seen it before, though I didn't think it warranted an actual vote against going hot.

My comment stemmed from watching the "LIVE" feature and seeing a bunch of sphinns come rolling in within seconds of each other for the article, like they announced that Google was going to allow paid links now, in reality it was a different article on a subject already covered, which I pointed out, not as a condemnation but as a matter of fact.

If we started reporting duplicate submissions on different URLs for the same subject you'd need to double the moderator staff.
