The real news here is that Aarons post prompted Google to fix JoeAnts PageRank.
"Why did a Google engineer chose to hand edit JoeAnts PageRank score when similar directories with lower editorial standards like the Yahoo! Directory and Business.com did not get edited?"Many Google reviewers dont know wtf theyre doing. Some are fresh out of college and never heard of joeant. Some are making up their own rules as they go along.
Apparently Aaron Wall is too influential for Google already :-)
He had sites turned down by JoeAnt? They must have been awfully low quality. And the same sites were accepted by Yahoo!? I didnt know Yahoo! was that easy. (I mean, I know they need the money, but...)
Penalizing Joe Ant was the most ignorant move on the part of Google yet. Penalize Business.com or some of the directories whose owners Matt is friends with.
