Nice seeing uncommon examples utilizing WP. Thanks for the find Maki.
Thats very interesting and impressive. But I have to ask, is WP the best general purpose CMS? People are using it as such and hacking it to bits. Surely there are better solutions out there? Drupal comes to mind. The only main differentiators of WP are its easy installation and intuitive way to add content. Drupals thinking in nodes is just plain wrong, especially for newbies.
I really liked this one. Thanks, Maki, I would never have found this otherwise. The application is simple yet powerful.
Nice. Even if WP isnt the best fit, I love seeing creative thinking in action. :)
Drupal is complex and the learning curve includes things you might never use. I love the idea of using the simplicity of the Wordpress interface and expanding it for more specific funtionality. Excellent article!
Another great use for WP. Not sure wed ever use it in this way but its great to see people turn an application into another useful tool!
Weve used both Drupal and various other CMS, Id love to be able to talk our techs into giving wordpress a whirl. Are there any resources that outline the advantages of Wordpress over other overcomplicated shite like Drupal?
I liked this, too. I would recommend that before anyone allow self-registration on a WordPress installation that you first make sure you have good security in place, as it can be a way for hackers to get in.
