good article, but anyone who’s tried to make a sane point heard on Digg, or called someone out, knows that it is a losing battle. You can’t win an arguement with someone to whom logic, reason and civility are unknown concepts.

True story. Just got my third death threat on StumbleUpon yesterday, by a user who "liked" below 30 pages since 2006 (compared to almost 5k after 6 months that I "liked").
