Sphunn because we need encouraging stories like this both for the people wanting to start and for those who started but wonder if they’re going somewhere.

Yes, but - where’s the business model?Traffic for traffic’s sake is not a business model - traffic is just traffic unless it’s leveraged somehow. Too many people in general are focused on "getting traffic", while surely marketers are supposed to be focused on trackable actionable results?

cheers iBrian - you don’t expect me to give everything away!but if you can’t see the business model from the site then I recommend you look a bit deeper.

the only problem was that it was a rushed post before I went into a meeting. I normally go into more detail. I’ll definteluy follow it up and give more information.I’m waiting for some of the sales to be approved and when that’s done I’ll show the EPC figures and how information from the networks / merchants really can impact your earnings.I used to get loads more traffic in my MFA days - but I’m not that greedy anymore!

Hmm, It’s good advice, but super-generic. More detail would be helpful, especially to those who are more advanced.  Another question: are the visits sustainable?  You can have big jumps in traffic, but does any meaningful percentage "stick" following the surge?  That would also be helpful to learn from the author’s experience.  I’ll be waiting to read the next installment.
