One of my most trafficked (and linked to) posts on my blog links to Stephans plugin. Can't deny it, this stuff works.

I concur, we get more traffic from the terms "Action Words","Cool Google Gadgets" and  "Most Searched Keywords" as  a result of a brief mention in a blog post than other competitive SEO phrases optimized on purpose.

For SEO sites, I think oftentimes we underestimate the authority garnered as a result of competing in one of the most competitive industries (the SEO industry) that when we point that somewhere else, it is just like low hanging fruit.
