I feel like this is just the first of many like it. It’s politically correct, and too few understand how most data collection is safe and anonymous.

I don’t know the details about that law, but something should be done to protect people from Google.Data collection by Google not anonymous.  The search engines easily have enough data to mine specific details about individuals.  Combine that with the mobile phones, GPS, etc. and it’s Big Brother.Someday Google won’t be considered a "nice" company anymore.  Maybe some other country will own it.  It’s too much data for any one oganization to have.
