EXCELLENT list. Not sure if I agree with the bit about the "hackersafe" logo, but most of this list is spot on.

Great list... every business owner with a site could benefit from this.  We suggest some of these things to clients and they just don't budge.  The more websites that list these actions, the better.

Some great comments, all of which we are advising clients "whew", most of which they arent doing.. Grrrr...

Excellent point by graywolf.  I'd like to hear why as well. 

Google, Yahoo, and MSN are hardly bad neighborhoods, so I'd really hope it's not something to do with some misguided common SEO myth regarding "PageRank leaking"
