That's a good tip. I saw Jeremy Wright from b5media at the WordCamp conference last month and he cleaned out the nearby Walgreens of all their power strips and shared them with a couple dozen bloggers. He was a hero.

Very true. SES conferences are worse than airports in terms of finding power outlets. At least the airports still have those old pay phones with outlets attached from the pre-Wifi days.

I met a couple folks from Live Search when sharing the power. Very effective technique.

If Incisive wants to make even MORE money at the next SES, they should buy a bunch of $5 power strips and get GenieKnows to sponsor them at $100 a pop.

Got some of that juice myself while at WordCamp. Now I know to thank Jeremy.

Yeah. This was my first SES and I'm bringing a power strip next time. I'm new to the industry so I need all the friends I can get.

I can just see it at the next SES... some clever marketer showing up with a 50' roll out power strip branded with his logo. At the airport before the show, at the show, at the airport after the show.... i would have appreciated her at every venue.

I have been bringing a multi-outlet to Starbucks for a few years now. In New York you almost always share a table and swap turns on the power outlet. In Seattle there's table space but few power strips. ust being neighborly.

I had an adapter too so that I could share an outlet and it worked pretty well.

Ohhh -- you know, Search Engine Land is a long name that could easily fit on a 50' roll out power strip :)

At the first SMX, FYI, we just put a lot of power strips out (and still should have put out more).
