Awesome post. Marty is a FB PPC genius!
I find the Facebook PPC advocacy from Marty interesting. Ive read so many posts discussing what an absolute dog Facebook ads are. But like any medium, I suppose it all comes down to hitting the right audience with a persuasive and relevant message.
@james: Facebook is crap for 99% of advertisers. But that other 1% makes a killing. Its a constant battle AGAINST the overly restrictive facebook ad moderators.
Marty, thanks for this one!Facebook is a different medium, and you cant treat it like everything else. Like all contextual advertising, just throwing your keyword ads at it is *not* the way to get the job done. On a SERP, theyre searching *for* something. On Facebook or any other contextual channel, theyre already looking *at* something, and you need to know the difference.
