Hmm... it's interesting. It'll still need a spam button I think though. After all, I don't think we want the hated section just flooded with viagra ads. (I guess we assume people will be smart enough to just not vote either way in that case though maybe) Will this site allow vulgar and offensive content I wonder?
Jack, best of luck with this, I have been really pleased with the way www.biggitup.com has gone, I only wished I had really niched it down to a really specific subject. Maybe I should have another go when I discover my next profitable niche, at the moment I seem to be stuck in 'motorhome hire' with my www.motorhomesdirect.co.uk site.
they forgot to remove the word "dugg" out of the clone...
look under the story there is still a "dugg" link.
lol wow, how many more of these sites will continue to come out?
Spam protection is comming, the Digg will be change to "Who Loved" and "Who Hated". There is a lot of work to do, we will be looking for some moderators if anyone is interested.
Also if you have a blog with solid content we are taking "preferred submitters" and will add your feed to our back end.
The hope is that people love to hate on things as much as I think they do. Watching the nightly news I would say that is indeed the case.
There is way to many clone sites these days people need to concentrate more on innovative ideas
@musa,
Honestly we believe that HatedOrLoved.com in an innovative idea. We liberate people to dislike something and be on record for doing so but yet let people see what is most hated. Just in politics alone clearly this is different then any such site. Why bury a story just because people don't like it? Want a story burried on Digg post something positive about George Bush.
I don't see how this is much different from Shoutwire, for example where both 'shouts' and 'bashes' can contribute to an article reaching the homepage.
Well first loves will go to a "popular" list and hates to a "hated" there by seperating the two.
Second HatedOrLoved won't be run by Nazis
Third HatedOrLoved won't shove popups in your face
Need I go on?
