Just a quick notification to say that Wordpress 2.5 has been released. I haven't upgraded yet, but really want to.

Excellento. I've been waiting for its release. Now I'll wait a bit to see if there's any yelling in the WordPress forums ... but it's looking good.

Uh oh:

- I noticed that my installation is reporting 2.5 as a development version, so was this release done in error?
- Even the release post have been withdrawn!

It's all official.  :)  There is even a wordpress.org blog post now. http://wordpress.org/development/2008/03/wordpress-25-brecker/
