Interesting ... optimizing for Google Local just got more important. With the incidence of in-car GPS units skyrocketing, and Google Maps now sending info right to Garmin units ... there's much opportunity afoot.

On a related note, Garmin also announced a deal with MapQuest yesterday. See:
