I knew SOMETHING good would come of this job.
What is the difference between SEM and PPC?
I would have thought the number would have been higher than that.
According to the website... (Indeed.com)
A "Bum" in Los Angeles earns $70K versus a "Search Engine Marketer" who only earns $39K.

Depends who you talk to DD. Some people see them as one and the same, while others (me included) see SEM as the umbrella description that covers SEO and PPC activity.
LOL! Think I'll head to LA right now. I've got the perfect outfit for the bum job interview.
Looks like I have some renegotiating to do.
I had an email from Indeed.com about this post and they were pretty happy being featured on Sphinn. They said that the use of “bum” is either an abbreviation for Business Unit Manager or refers to a bum culture in the geographical area where a job is offered. Also, in a Salary Search tool, under the salary figures, there’s a so-called confidence bar that indicates on how many sources that information is based. For a bum, the confidence is low: under 75 sources; for a “marketing manager,” it’s high confidence with more than 250 sources.
I dont get it...
Where is the difference between SEM and Search Engine Marketing as well as SEO and Search Engine Optimization?
In that case its better to be an SEM than a Search Engine Marketer?!
