Lisa Barone; Bruceclay.com - Simply put, your personal brand is you. It’s who you are. It’s your skills, the way you carry yourself, your individuality, your traits, your persona. It’s what you can do and what void you fill that no one else can. You can’t fake it. Personal brands are built on being genuine and letting people see you as you really are.

Absolutely terrific post. "Identify your strengths and capitalize, help others, get others to sing your praises, be visible, be YOURSELF and take a stance." I just love that.

This post could not have come at a better time.  After spending years branding other peoples services and products, it is time to brand ME.

I definately agree with the points made in the blog.  Identifying your personality, strengths, and resources is important to concentrate your branding efforts on.  Once you uncover your SWOT you can then focus on why you are a relevant source to assist in the cause. - Peter Leshaw

Lisa has been writing some really hot content lately. Must be the babies (or the New York bagels).

Love the post, they more you give the more you get.  I have been living by that for sometime now on the SEO forum and blogsphere.

I think I've lacked confidence for most of my life - despite being a great public speaker, playing in bands etc. As I make my online mark I'm going to reflect on this post and believe in myself a little bit more. As Bertrand Russell said "The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt."
