WordPress by default applies a NoFollow tag on all blog post comments. A recent Cre8asite Forums discussion suggested using the Lucia’s Linky Love plugin. Using both DoFollow and Akismet plugins, it takes more work but valuable comments can get linkjuice.

Are you a DoFollow-er or a NoFollow-er?

Please note that since 16:00 PDT today the site has been offline for reasons I do not understand.  I am trying to contact the ISP who hosts this site but as of yet have not been successful.  Please be patient and I will signal when normal programming has been restored.

Back to normal programming now.  I assume there was too much traffic on the server.  I can’t think this post was so popular that ..  Presumably it’s just technology not always working as it should.

I’ve been thinking about this. Perhaps no follow tags should suddenly flip over and start passing juice ;) Why? Well most decent blogs are no followed and if people take the time to comment perhaps they have something to say, after all, they are not doing it for the juice.d

Great to here you are now a dofollow. Personally I don’t put, or allow a link on my site unless it has value. If it has value, then it should be followed. People adding a comment on your site, and having a link to their site as reference is extremely valuable, for many reasons.
